Guided meditation

At UNIL, Meditation area (Internef)

The meditation period is as open and neutral as possible. This allows anyone, no matter their religious convictions, or experience, to participate.

This takes place at Internef level 0 (access by lift - indicated by an arrow) every Thursday at 12:15 during the semester (outside this period, please contact one of the chaplains).

Meditation starts with some  music from 12:00am (to allow people to arrive). At 12:15, the person giving the meditation class will give some practical advice on meditation (position, breatheing, etc.).

Following this, a reading from one of the Spiritual teachings of humanity, a gong will sound,  this will mark the begining of the silent meditation which will last for approximately 20 minutes.

The last five minutes will be used to exchange impressions, questions, and suggestions of ways of enriching one another in order to fullfil the desires and needs of each participant.

At the end of this meditation period, those who wish, may stay and have a sandwich in the Internef cafeteria.
