Geography
Wide variety of landscapes: the Alps (peaks over 4000 meters) and the Alpine foothills 60%, 30% plateau and the Jura 10%. Country of mountains and nature, but also countries in trade and transit through the Gotthard, Furka-Oberalp-Grand Saint Bernard. The most important rivers find their sources (Rhône, Rhine, Danube Inn, Ticino-Po) and has a hundred natural lakes.

Climate
Temperate zone. As the terrain is varied temperatures and weather conditions differ from one region to another. Temperatures are pleasant in spring (6°C and 17°C) in fresh winter (-6°C to 9°C) in hot summer (11°C to 27°C) and soft fall (6°C to 14°C). Switzerland is the realm of skiing and snowboarding in winter and hiking in summer. Take warm clothes in winter and mild clothes in summer (with a sweater for the evenings altitude)
