Dating from the foundation of the Academy in 1537, the University of Lausanne, together with the Federal Polytechnic of Lausanne, now forms a vast campus devoted to teaching and research, whose influence extends far beyond the frontiers of Switzerland.

The University of Lausanne is aware of the difficulties facing the disabled in their everyday life, and is trying to facilitate their integration into the activities of the Dorigny site (information in french).
