Campus infrastructures were designed at a time when the principles of sustainable development were in their infancy.
Even so, for 30 years, water from the lake has been used for cooling, using technical galleries to channel energy to buildings without any need for further excavation work; parks and gardens are maintained without recourse to chemical plant-care products, the forest is protected, and waste is collected and sorted selectively.
