Description, aims and objectives

HEC Lausanne, the Business and Economics Faculty of the University of Lausanne, trains the leaders and managers of tomorrow. Now over a hundred years old, it prides itself on values of excellence, responsibility and international openness.

The Faculty holds a great number of international agreements and features prominently in world rankings for the quality of its academic programmes and its research. It also benefits from the attractiveness and economic dynamism of the Geneva region, while being located in an exceptional setting on the shores of Lake Geneva.

With its own international relations and mobility unit and careers centre, the Faculty smoothes the transition into the world of work by offering international exchange programmesas well as advice on careers and offers of internships and employment opportunities. Throughout the year, the large number of student associations affiliated to the Faculty organise varied activities, fostering the personal development of students and encouraging them to get involved in the life of the campus.

Its network of alumni, whose numbers include many notable personalities, is a veritable platform for exchange. It offers to their students and graduates the possibility of establishing and devoloping professional contacts.
