Assistant in French Literature at the University of Lausanne (1987-1992); SNSF Young Researcher Bursary (1992-1994); Lecturer in French Literature at the University of Lausanne (1994-1998) then Associate Professor (since 1998); Head of Unit in the Human and Social Sciences Programme, College of Humanities of the Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, EPFL (since 2002); Director of the Certificate of Continuing Education in "Drama and Performance of Text" at the University of Lausanne (since 2004).
Has also taught at the University of Geneva (teacher exchange); at the University of Neuchâtel (assistantship); at the University of Dijon (teacher exchange), at the EPFL (as part of the SHS programme).
