Description, aims and objectives

Helping you to become a responsible manager is an exciting mission that the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne) takes particularly seriously.

Being one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan faculties, students are immersed in a veritable international melting pot where they can enrich their knowledge by exchanging their respective ideas and cultures, thereby opening themselves up to the global dimensions of business and multicultural diversity.

Following in the footsteps of its founding fathers, Walras and Pareto, HEC Lausanne offers avant-garde teaching based on high-level research in the fields of management, finance and economics. It is ranked first in Switzerland and 14th in Europe under the University of Dallas classification which emphasises cutting-edge research. If you choose to study at HEC Lausanne, you will also develop a real sense of social responsibility as a result of the ethical undercurrent that informs all our programmes.
