About us

"Computational Biology" addresses biological questions with computational means and algorithms. This includes a large range of applications, ranging from mathematical modeling of biological systems to the processing and analysis and integration of large amounts of experimental or clinical data. A number of research groups at the University of Lausanne work in the field of Computational Biology. They are all affiliated to the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, and collaborate closely with other SIB groups. The goal of this site is to provide an overview of their research and teaching activities.
