Computer-aided high resolution structural analysis of cells in the brain
|
This technology uses light and electron microscopy to analyze the 3D structure of neurons and glia. A variety of cell labeling methods, including various in vivo fluorescent techniques, combined with high resolution, three dimensional reconstruction from serial sections and quantitative analyses gives insight into the roles that different cells play in brain function. |
