Postdoctoral position (1ere assistant) on post-transcriptional regulation by cis-natural antisense RNA in plants

A postdoctoral position (1ere assistant) is available starting in March 2014, or soon thereafter, at the laboratory of Prof. Yves Poirier at the Department of Plant Molecular Biology of the University of Lausanne. The research project is aimed the discovering the mechanisms implicated in the enhancement of mRNA translation by cis-natural antisense RNAs. This project is based on the work recently published in Plant Cell (2013) 25: 4166-4182. We are looking for a strongly motivated scientist capable of using novel experimental approaches to tackle this challenging project. The position is renewable up to a maximum of five years.
