(1) Microarray experiments to investigate the effect of MDA on gene expression were conducted. Transcript levels from leaves of Arabidopsis plants treated with volatile MDA (4 mmol l-l air volume) for 4 h were compared to leaves treated with ethanol alone (carrier).
