Research interest

I am interested in the ecology, evolution and genetics of the phenotype. The phenotypes I am particularly interested in are life-history traits, behavior, longevity, learning and immunity. I have worked primarily with two insect species: an insect parasitoid as a model organism to understand foraging behavior, and Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism for evolutionary genetics. My current research addresses the evolutionary genetics of cognitive senescence and adaptive immunity in invertebrates.
