Tasks and Specializations
I am an ecologist and currently work as lab technician in the research group of Professor Tadeusz Kawecki. We work with the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster, which is a good model organism for experimental evolutionary genetics. My main task is to keep the lab running, so I take care of cooking fly food, cleaning equipment for experiments, ordering materials, maintaining fly stocks and assisting with experiments
