Research interests

I am interested in ecological modelling as a tool to answer both theoretical evolutionary questions and conservation relevant questions. In particular, I investigate the evolution of metapopulation structure (dispersal patterns) in heterogeneous environments, and the resulting genetic diversity and metapopulation persistence.

I am also interested in network theory and its applications in the understanding of metapopulation structure.
