Research interests

I am interested in the evolution and the organisation of animal societies, and in particular of social insects. My research focuses on various aspects of the functioning of ant colonies, including communication, reproductive conflicts and competition, and division of labour. I am especially fascinated by collective behaviour and collective decision-making in animals, which I have investigated in details in house-hunting ants during my Ph.D.
