How to apply to the lab?
The lab is currently recruiting!!
PhD Students and Postdoctoral Researchers
Applications from prospective PhD students and postdocs are welcome at any time. Although internal funding may be available to support positions from time to time, all applicants are strongly encouraged to seek external sources of funding.
To apply, please send a motivation letter describing your current research interests, your past scientific achievements and your motivation to join our group, your CV and the names and contact details (emails) of three referees to Sophie Martin. Postdoc applicants should typically have published at least one first-author paper in a competitive peer-reviewed journal.
Prospective PhD students can also apply to the lab through the Faculty of Biology and Medecine PhD Fellowship in Life Sciences programme.
If you are a biology student interested in cell biological questions, the Martin lab offers exciting master projects. Projects are typically multi-disciplinary, including techniques such as molecular cloning, molecular genetics studies, live-cell imaging techniques, genome-wide approaches and/or biochemical methods.
