Criteria for admission at the Bachelor in Biology programme
Admission as a regular student
To be immatriculated at the University of Lausanne and admitted at the School of Biology the candidate must fullfill the following conditions :
- possess a diploma af "Maturité fédérale" or an equivalent foreign diploma
- succeed to the exam of admission of the School of Biology (only with the following diplomas : diploma from a swiss School- diploma degree within three years (=EDD-3), specialized maturity, professional maturity)
- presenting an admission file accepted by the admission comity (only for students older than 25 with no certificate of maturity)
Admission as an auditor
Anyboby who is more than 18 year old have the possibility to follow the courses of the University of Lausanne as an auditor. One simply need to announce to the "immatriculation office" until the start of the courses.
The registration tax is CHF. 150 per semester. The auditor don't get a student card nor regsistration certificate.
If you would like to follow courses at the School of Biology, you have to ask for a written authorization from the School. You have to send an email to the office of the School of biology (biologie-etudiants [@] unil.ch) indicating the name of the courses you have chosen so that we can examin your demand and confirm our agreement.
