Doctorate MD-PhD, in Medicine and in Sciences
The University of Lausanne (UNIL) by its Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) and the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) jointly organize a doctorate in medicine and in sciences for medical graduates aiming for an academic career. The program is managed by the Lausanne MD-PhD Commission and offers a high quality education in sciences.
The MD-PhD programme is designed for medical students from Swiss or foreign universities interested in sciences and aiming for an academic career. The program includes a preparatory training part and a doctoral training part. At the end of their cursus within the MD-PhD program the students are graduated as Doctor in medicine and in sciences.
