Mobility
The doctoral program promotes mobility by encouraging PhD students to attend courses/workshops at the doctoral level in other universities, as well as scientific meetings and symposia.
The aim is to facilitate PhD students to meet other people on their field, enlarge their knowledge and possibly establish a network of collaboration.
Doctoral students from the program can be reimbursed their travel and accommodation costs up to an amount of CHF 300. The request can be done only one time during the whole PhD.
To apply, students must download and fill in the "mobility request from" before the activity takes place. Decision is usually given within 2 weeks after receipt of the request.
After the event, doctoral students should send to the coordination office:
- A certificate of participation
- the program/description of the course/meeting
- The usual "reimbursement form for participants"
- The original tickets/invoices
Because the initial funding of the ee doctoral program was first fixed until September 2009, this possibility can be guaranteed only until this date. Further support will be given depending on the future funding availability.
