Workshop "Promoting a respectful and welcoming work climate in my team"

What role can managers play in promoting equality and diversity in an institution like UNIL? How can you, as a manager, identify situations of discrimination within your team and react appropriately? How can you identify the subtle steretypes that surround you, become aware of your own biases and develop strategies to improve equity and the quality of decisions and collaborations?

Combining theoretical content, concrete tools, role-playing and discussions, this workshop is intended for members of the UNIL staff who have a managerial function. Divided into two half-days, it will raise your awareness of how to prevent situations that may lead to different types of discrimination and violence - discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, sexism, etc. - and will suggest good practices  to promote a protective, motivating and diversity-friendly work climate within your team.
