The programme offers :
You choose between four specialisations:
Master of Science (MSc) in Geography specialisation "Urban Studies, Sustainable Urban Development and Territorial Development", "Geomorphology and Management of Mountain Regions", "Development and Environment", "Spatial Analysis and Complex Systems"
French, some courses in English. Recommended level : C1.
Final enrolment date
30 April. The degree course begins in the autumn semester.
Candidates needing a visa to study in Switzerland : 28 February.

University studies develop, in addition to specific academic skills, a great many transverse skills such as : oral and written communication, critical, analytical and summarising faculties, abilities in research, the learning and transmission of knowledge, independence and the ability to make judgements in the field of specialisation and overlapping areas.
This panoply of skills, combined with specialist knowledge acquired in the course of studies, is excellent preparation for a wide range of employment opportunities.
The programme is thus intended for future geographers, urban planners, developers, those employed by the Public Administration and public service utilities, consulting firms, representatives of professional organisations or interest groups, coordinators of territorial development projects, advisers on sustainable urban development, environmentalists, consultants in international cooperation, practitioners in the mountain environment area, etc.
