Candidates needing a visa to study in Switzerland must apply for enrolment at least two months prior to the deadline indicated above. This time limit is applicable to enrolment at the UNIL only.

General presentation The Master of Sciences in Geology offers students advanced teaching in various specialised areas of geology depending on the chosen orientation, i.e.:
  • Sedimentary Geology
  • Structural and Alpine Geology
  • Geochemistry, Petrology and Metalliferous Deposits
  • Geology for Engineers, Geological Risks, Environmental Geology
