The Master of Science in Psychology can be commenced in the autumn or spring semesters, except for the Counselling Psychology and Child and Adolescent Consultation orientations (please contact the study advisor for more information concerning these two courses).
Candidates needing a visa to study in Switzerland must apply for enrolment at least two months prior to the deadlines indicated above.

CONTENT  
General presentation

The Master of Science in Psychology is designed as a cycle of specialisation providing access to the profession of psychologist. Its objectives are as follows:

  • To expand knowledge in targeted fields according to a chosen professional orientation;
  • To draw on acquired knowledge for the construction of a scientific argument;
  • To acquire methodologies and tools in the field of research and/or intervention;
  • To prepare and complete a research work (the writing of a dissertation).

The programme offers various free-choice orientations which, when combined, allow students to create a personalised profile reflecting their own interests and professional ambitions.
