Programme description:
The Doctoral Programme in Mineral Sciences seeks to emphasise quality and creativity in the field of minerals science and to promote mobility and transferable skills. Training and continuing education concerns analytical methods, basic scientific content and transferable skills. Our doctoral programme brings together doctoral students, thesis supervisors and other researchers/teachers active in the fields of mineralogy, petrology, volcanology, geochronology and biogeosciences from the Universities of Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchâtel.

Applications may be submitted at any time (but preferably at the start of the thesis) using the form available on the website mineral.cuso.ch. For further information please contact Ms Melissa Ortelli.

Admission onditions:
To be admitted to the Doctoral Programme in Natural and Transformed Minerals, candidates must be registered with a French-speaking Swiss university (Lausanne, Geneva, Neuchâtel, Fribourg) and be the holder of a Masters/degree in an appropriate field. In some cases, doctoral students registered with another Swiss university may be accepted.
