Programme description:
The approach of the French-Swiss "Sociology" doctoral programme is more disciplinary than thematic, combining training and research. It is intended primarily for doctoral students in sociology who are holders of a DEA (Diploma of Advanced Studies) or a master's degree in sociology and who intend to pursue a career in teaching and/or research, either in the public or the private spheres.
 

Duration of the programme: 3 years
 

Teaching language: French, sometimes English

Registration deadline for the doctoral programme:
Dependent on teaching modules.

Admission conditions:
To be admitted to the "Sociology" doctoral programme, candidates must be registered at a Swiss university and hold a Master's or "License" degree in an appropriate field.
