Programme description:
The study programme consists of teaching modules that are accumulated as countable units acquired through the completion of training and thesis work.

Theoretical training consists of an annual research symposium of 30 hours, three methodological modules of 20 hours each, and four thematic modules of 20 hours each. Research symposia take place throughout the duration of doctoral training. They are organised for all doctoral candidates and are held on a regular basis according to a programme determined by the Scientific Committee. Such symposia allow doctoral students to present their work. The thesis supervisor is required to participate in the presentations of doctoral students for whom he/she is responsible. Methodological and thematic modules take the form of course blocks lasting a minimum of two days and are made more interesting by the participation of authoritative researchers. They may also involve a practical part. With the agreement of the Scientific Committee, two modules may be followed in another area of doctoral training.

The completion of thesis work consists of two periods. The first two semesters are dedicated mainly to the preparation of the thesis outline, in agreement with the thesis supervisor. During this period, the doctoral student must follow at least one methodological module and two thematic modules. The following semesters are dedicated mainly to conducting research specific to the thesis work and to the actual writing of the thesis. During this period, the doctoral student must also submit at least one text for publication in a scientific journal.

Programme duration: Minimum basic period of 6 semesters. The complete course starting from registration may not exceed 10 semesters.
