Programme description: The Doctoral School of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine was created in 2003 to increase synergies at the interface of bioscience, medicine and human sciences research; it offers unique opportunities for interdisciplinary research, development of new technologies and translational research. Nearly 700 doctoral students are currently enrolled in one of the five paths:
The doctorates marked with an asterisk are associated to a PhD program (mandatory) which covers the different research fields represented in the Faculty and includes: courses, discussion groups (also called: tutorials), mini-symposiums, series of seminars and conferences. The School offers six PhD programs in Life Sciences. Click on the links to obtain more information and check the enrolment requirements for each PhD program.
