| General presentation | Medical studies comprise six years of study grouped into two levels of training.
The Master of Medicine (3 years, 180 ECTS credits) is the second level, following the Bachelor of Medicine (3 years, 180 ECTS credits). The Master of Medicine course is dedicated to the teaching of the theoretical bases of pathologies and the theoretical and practical bases of patient treatment. It also provides a basic science recap. This Master’s degree is required for admittance to the Swiss Federal Examination in Medicine, which is common to all Swiss Universities and is governed by the requirements of the Federal Law on the Medical Professions. |
