Programme description:
The main aim of the Doctoral Programme in Psychology is to provide a platform of training and exchanges for French-speaking doctoral students in psychology. The training seeks to increase their skills in research and reflection through teaching modules that examine the most recent developments in the discipline, both in terms of methodology and knowledge. The training also lays great store by developing the social skills of doctoral students by exposing them to diverse topics in the field of psychology, enabling them to broaden their intellectual horizons and avoid excessively rigid specialisation. Particular emphasis will be placed on scientific communication, an aspect in which participants will be regularly involved through various activities as a way of preparing to play an active part in scientific events and to defend their thesis.

Participation in the programme’s activities is not compulsory to defend a thesis in psychology. It is however strongly recommended. The training is organised in 3-year cycles.
