Visa
To enter Switzerland, you must present a valid identity document, recognised by the Swiss authorities. Depending on your country of origin, a visa may also be required
Residence Permit
Foreign nationals who take up residence in Switzerland must register with the Aliens' Office or the Population Control Service of their new municipality of residence
Work Permit
Anyone who works, does an internship, or studies during his/her stay or plans to stay more than three months must have a permit
