Students
Each year, several students from the Swiss Universities are invited to take part to fieldworks and museum study seasons. These activities take place on the island of Euboea, mostly in Eretria, from March to October.
Students are accommodated during their stay in the House of the Swiss School in Eretria, a 19th century neoclassical house with a recently built annexe equipped with all commodities.
Travel costs are at the charge of the Universities. A small allowance covers food expense.
How to apply
Advanced students reading for a Master in classical archaeology and with experience in field archaeology are preferred, but all applications will be taken into consideration.
Languages spoken are French or German; Greek is not a prerequisite but should be learned on the site.
Given the small number of opportunities, application is reserved to students from Swiss Universities only.
In order to apply, send the completed application form together with a curriculum vitae to Karl.Reber@unil.ch (no paper, only electronic documents please).
