The university campus has four nurseries for children of UNIL and EPFL staff and students: la Croquignole, la Croq'cinelle, le Polychinelle and Primavera which accept children of from two months to four and a half years old. The Fondation Accueil Petite Enfance EPFL-UNIL (FAPE) is the administrative and decision-making body that manages the three child life centres.
These nurseries form an integral part of the Réseau-L (Lausanne). To find a place in one of these nurseries, you must register your child on the centralised list managed by the Bureau d’Information aux Parents de la Ville de Lausanne.
