School of Geosciences and the Environment
The School of Geosciences and the Environment is part of the Faculty of Geosciences and the Environment and as such under the authority of the Deanship. The School is directed by the Associate Dean of academic affairs.
The Deanship formulates the general policy of the Faculty regarding teaching and it assures that the School receives the necessary resources to accomplish its tasks.
Tasks
The general purpose of the School is to organize and to coordinate the basic teaching programs (at the Bachelor and Master’s levels) of the Faculty of Geosciences and the Environment. In collaboration with the Foundation “Formation continue UNIL-EPFL”, the School is responsible for the continued education programs and courses of the Faculty.
