Research
Marina Rosas Carbajal graduated as a Geophysicist (2010) from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina. She joined the Institute of Geophysics at UNIL in January 2011 as a PhD student in Niklas Linde's team.
Her research focuses on time lapse and stochastic inversion of radio and audio magnetotelluric data with applications to hydrogeology. Within the scope of her project is the evaluation of AMT/RMT data as a monitoring technology for hydrological processes, as well as the development of an efficient Monte Carlo Markov Chain method to derive the distribution of electrical conductivity models for both static and dynamic conditions.
