Research

My current research focus is on the joint inversion of geophysical and hydrological datasets for aquifer characterization. Different methods, such as cross-hole radar and tracer experiments, are combined to improve the estimation of hydrological parameters. The main objective is to develop a methodology that includes conceptual geological models in the inversion procedure by means of multiple-point statistics. Typical sedimentary structures can then be incorporated to obtain more realistic aquifer models.
This PhD project is a contribution to the Ensemble Poject (www.ensemble-modeling.org).
