Colloque international Eau : ressource, risque et développement durable dans les pays de la Méditerranée occidentale 27-28 novembre 2013 - Fès (Maroc)

Présentation

Le colloque est organisé par le Laboratoire d’Analyses Géo-Environnementales et d’Aménagement (LAGEA) de l’Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, en collaboration avec les universités de Metz et de Rouen, ainsi que l’Institut de géographie et durabilité de l’Université de Lausanne. Cette rencontre constitue le colloque final de trois projets réalisés par le LAGEA, dont le projet « Risques d’inondation dans deux bassins versants marocains : Fès et Beni Mellal », mené par le LAGEA et l’IGD durant trois ans avec financement de la DDC.

Le colloque traitera les quatre thèmes suivants :

- Climat : variabilité, changement, tendance ;
- Ressource en eau : évaluation, qualité, quantité ;
- Risques hydrologiques : diagnostic, méthodes d’approche, prévention et gestion ;
- L’eau dans les projets de développement durable: conflits, gestion, aménagement, approche critique.

Computational GIScience Seminar & Workshop Series May-December 2013 - UNIL | Géopolis

Computational GIScience is an emerging interdisciplinary field attracting scientists from different classical disciplines: geography (physical, human, social etc.), sociology, computer science, spatial statistics and geocomputation, geospatial data mining.

The Computational GIScience Seminar & Workshop Series at the Faculty of Geosciences and Environment of the University of Lausanne offers an opportunity to leading researchers to present their latest activities to an interested public and to interact with colleagues from different fields within computational applications in GIScience.

The target audience of the seminars and workshops are researchers and graduate students in all fields of computational GIScience. These interdisciplinary seminars and workshops are open to everybody interested in the topic.
