Support Plan for Elite Athletes

The candidates who wish to benefit from the Support Plan for Elite Athletes during their studies must submit their application file to the Selection Commission for Studying Elite Athletes (Commission de sélection des étudiants sportifs d'élite) on top of the application file they submit to the Registration and Enrolment Service (Service des immatriculations et inscriptions).

Their registration application being accepted does not mean the Commission will take them on as an elite athlete. Likewise, receiving the status of elite athlete does not prejudge any registration decision.

Students already registered at the UNIL who wish to benefit from the Support Plan for Elite Athletes submit their application file to the Selection Commission for Studying Elite Athletes (Commission de sélection des étudiants sportifs d'élite), respecting the deadline indicated below.

The information pertaining to the Support Plan can be found in the Directive 3.13 of the UNIL Rectorate

The application file addressed to the Selection Commission for Studying Elite Athletes (Commission de sélection des étudiants sportifs d'élite) consists of a letter from the student describing his/her personal situation accompanied by proofs of entitlement such as the copy of the Swiss Olympic Card, the NOC list, etc.

Deadline: application files must be delivered by mail or email:

  • at the earliest on February 1st  and at the latest on April 30th for those who start their Bachelor or Master classes in September of the same year;
  • at the earliest on September 1st and at the latest on November 30th for those who start their Master degree in February of the following year.
