General deadlines
DEADLINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
The application online and the required documents must reach us before the final dates indicated below.
| Candidates needing a study visa must apply two months prior to the general deadlines. |
| I. Bachelor's and Master's programmes (also for EFLE programmes) |
| ONLINE ENROLMENT: Submit your application for a Bachelor's, Master's or EFLE programme online. |
| a) 2012/2013 Autumn semester : - General deadline: before 30 April 2012 for all faculties, except Medicine. - Deadline for candidates needing a study visa: before 28 February 2012 for all faculties, except Medicine. Exceptions: |

Note: the deadline of 30 April, respectively by 28 February, must be respected even if the diploma giving entitlement to registration (school-leaving diploma, baccalauréat, Bachelor's degree, etc) is not issued until later in the year. In this case, return the other documents by 30 April, respectively by 28 February, indicating the date on which the copy of the diploma granting access to UNIL will be sent to the Admissions Service. Candidates must however provide missing documents in sufficiently good time to allow processing of the application, failing which the application will be cancelled. This is especially important for candidates who must take the French examen or the Complementary examination of Swiss universities (ECUS). |
| b) 2013 Spring semester : - General deadline: before 30 November 2012. - Deadline for candidates needing a study visa: before 30 September 2012. Note: only students in German law, guest students (subject to faculty approval) and candidates for certain Master's programmes may register in the spring semester. |
| c) Deadline for submission of an application based on curriculum (for the Bachelor's degree only) 1st March 2012 for the 2012/2013 Autumn semester |
| II. Doctorate |
| The complete file must be submitted to the Admissions Service :

| III. Special deadlines for advanced study programmes |

Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Service within the time limit indicated by the faculty, but not later than 30 June 2012. |
