Curriculum Vitae

Philippe Weber is graduated (BSc and MSc) from the Faculty of Geosciences and Environment (FGSE) of the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). He received his MSc in Environmental Geosciences in May 2009. As part of his studies, Philippe has developed general expertises on  environment and spatial planning. More precisely, he's been interested by the relationship risk-environment, especially on its spatio-temporal dimension by emphysizing on territorial regulation issues in order to foster integrated management policies.

 

Research activities

In June 2009, Philippe joined the Institute of Land Use Policy and Human Environment (IPTEH) at the University of Lausanne to start a PhD. Within the IPTEH, Philippe is part of the “Land Use Policy group”, led by Professor Jean Ruegg. The research that Philippe leads currently focuses on the land issue in the framework of operational urban planning. In this context, the themes addressed are land policies, brownfield’s rehabilitation, property right, land ownership, land and real estate markets, negotiation between private and public interests.
