Thesis Structure and contents
Thesis topic: Analysis of the nature of the economic regulative bodies and the ontological impacts of their entrance in the global political governance, on democracy and value of legitimacy.
The nature of the firm is a tangled debate between economics, political sciences and philosophy. We conduct analysis of the economic regulative bodies, from those different points of view and try to make a synthesis, which would offer a contribution to the building of a new political paradigm. The thesis develops concepts of institutionalised institution and instituting institution, non-ergodic world and “processual” cognitive methodology applied to regulation and policy building.
We ground our researches on the contemporary political philosophy (Rawls, Habermas, Castoriadis, Ricoeur, Petit, etc.), in economics on theory of the firm and recent political theory of the firm and governance, on international studies (Keohane & Nye, Rosenau, Beck, Burton, North) and on epistemology that develops processual methodology (Whitehead, Latour, etc.), founded on a common regulative culture (Delmas Marty).
