Coming by plane
There are frequent direct trains from Geneva's and Zürich's airports to Lausanne's main train station. The train ride from Geneva is about 35 minutes, and 2 hours from Zürich.
Then proceed from Lausanne-Gare as described below.
Coming by train
When you arrive in Lausanne's main station, take the M2 metro (direction Croisettes) up to the CHUV station (about 15 minutes).
Coming by car
If you come from Geneva or Neuchatel, take the junction to "Lausanne Nord, Bern". Exit the highway at "Lausanne Vennes".
If you come from Zürich, Bern, Vevey, "Lausanne Vennes" is the first exit to Lausanne. From the exit, follow the directions for "Hopitaux" (hospitals). That will take you on a more or less straight downhill path to Lausanne's main hospital, the CHUV.
