Modeling and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases

The general strategy of the group is to develop a pre-clinical research program on neurodegenerative diseases with  the development of relevant and predictive genetic models of CNS diseases (with a particular emphasis on Huntington's disease), investigation of disease mechanisms, identification and validation of therapeutic targets with a potential transfer to the clinic in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the CHUV.
