MD-PhD or PhD position
A MD-PhD or PhD position financed by s Swiss Translational Medicine (SwissTransMed) project, is available at the Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Neurotherapies, CHUV, Lausanne (http://www.unil.ch/lcmn). The candidate will be part of a gene therapy program for Huntington’s disease (HD). The main objective of the present project is to develop and validate, in vitro and in rodent models of HD, a therapeutic strategy consisting in down-regulating mutated huntingtin (Htt) expression using viral vectors encoding small interfering RNA (siRNA).
The position is funded for a period of 36 months starting in December 2013.
