Since 2004 the Lemanic Neuroscience community gathers once a year for the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM). The LNAM is a meeting that brings together faculty, postdocs and graduate students from neuroscience labs in Geneva and Lausanne. The meeting is organized primarily as a graduate student activity for the students of the LN Doctoral School of the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva, and neuroscience doctoral students from the EPFL.The LNAM takes place every year in the mountains of Les Diablerets, if possible in September or at the end of the summer break. Most of the time, we are really lucky with the weather and can couple science with outdoor fun ...
As of 2019, the format of the meeting will change and will become the NeuroLeman Network and Doctoral Schools Meeting in order to better represent the various neuroscience research labs, platforms and institutions, as well as to foster even more extensive interactions between junior and senior scientists around the Lake of Geneva (and beyond). The meeting date will also move with:
- May 2 as meeting day of the PIs of the NeuroLeman Network
- May 3-4 as meeting days involving PhD candidates of the local Neuroscience Doctoral Schools and PIs in common
What remains is the beautiful meeting place in Les Diablerets; stay tuned for more news!
