Program and other details

The 15th edition of the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM'18), will take place on Sunday and Monday, 2-3 September, at the Maison des Congrès in Les Diablerets. Due to the exceptional start of the meeting on Sunday 2, registration and poster set-up will begin on 13h only, so plenty of time to wake up and make your way to the mountains!

This year, the LNAM committee will be members of the Lausanne neuroscience community ...

  • as PIs: Paola Bezzi and Jean-Pierre Hornung (UNIL-DNF), Bogdan Draganski (CHUV-DNC), Micah M. Murray (CHUV-RAD and Eye Hospital)
  • as PhD candidates: tba

Plenary lectures are confirmed by:

More program details will soon follow.

15 Data Blitz talks by PhD candidates in neuroscience from the Lemanic region wil complete the scientific talk program. The slots are given on a competetive basis once PhD candidates choose the option to present a concise insight into their research when submitting their presentation abstract. The blitz talk should not last longer than 8min (and leaving 2min for questions from the audience).

On Sunday evening, all PhD candidates are asked to present their research in a poster session, paralleled by an aperitif with many possibilities to discuss with fellow students and more senior researchers. These discussions can of course be continued at the conference dinner at the Hotel Victoria. All oral and poster presentations will enter the competition for the Jean Falk-Vairant award as every year.
