Post-Doctoral Position in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Research @ CHUV Lausanne (04/2019)

A 2-year postdoctoral position in developmental neurosciences is available at the Autism Center in the Service des Troubles Spectre de l'Autisme, Psychiatry Department, Lausanne University Hospital CHUV. The Autism Center research laboratory is presently leading a multidisciplinary project with synergies across neurosciences and clinics to identify early biomarkers for ASD. The main objective is to better understand the emergence of dysfunction combining neuroelectrophysiology, functional, structural MRI with clinical/behavioural assessments. A particular emphasis will be placed on putative links between sensory and multisensory dysfunction along with cognitive and social difficulties.

Postdoctoral position for a project combining Virtual Reality, EEG and fMRI 10/2018)

Applications are invited for a 18-month postdoctoral position at the Brain and Behaviour Laboratory (BBL) of the University of Geneva. This project funded by Novartis is under the supervision of Dr. Frédéric Grouiller and in close collaboration with the Laboratory of Neurology and Imaging of Cognition (Pr. Patrik Vuilleumier). The project aims at combining Virtual Reality, artificial intelligence algorithms, functional MRI and EEG in order to improve efficiency of EEG neurofeedback in children suffering from ADHD. The BBL (www.bbl.unige.ch) provides cutting-edge brain imaging platforms including a 3T MRI scanner, MRI-compatible EEG and a high-end immersive Virtual Reality system.
The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Signal Processing, Neuroscience or related field. Excellent programming skills (Matlab or equivalent) are required for this position and a prior experience in functional MRI, EEG neurofeedback and Virtual Reality would be very appreciated. The position is available for 18 months from January 1st 2019. The salaries are in accordance with the Swiss public service regulations.
