DEADLINE for late registration: Friday, November 13th 2009
The 2009 edition of the Lemanic Neuroscience Annual Meeting (LNAM) will take place on Friday November 27th and it will be held at the Hotel La Longeraie, in Morges. By concentrating our annual meeting on one day and bringing it down to the lake, we hope to make it easier for you to join us.
Two keynote speakers will address the topic "Neurobiology of mental diseases" from a cellular/molecular to a systems/cognitive level, presenting as well clinical perspectives:
- Prof. Mathias Jucker (Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research, Dept. of Cellular Neurology, Tübingen, Germany): "The prion-aspect of Alzheimer´s disease"
- Prof. Trevor Robbins (Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Cambridge, UK): "Fractionating impulsivity: neuropsychiatric implications"
There will be 2 poster sessions and several short talks by lemanic neuroscientists, presenting the research in neuroscience done in Geneva and Lausanne. In the afternoon, 7 parallel symposia will allow in depth discussion about the following topics:
