My work is mainly focused on investigating neural activity in limbic, associative and sensorimotor cortico-subcortical circuits in Parkinson’s disease patients using functional MRI and diffusion-based tractography. My aim is to contribute with my research project to the early detection and accurate clinical outcome prognosis in Parkinson’s disease. The ultimate goal of my research is to establish and validate a generative model of Parkinson's disease pathophysiology.
