Plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of results are unanimously considered to be serious offences, punishable by UNIL or even criminal prosecution.

Their practice is incompatible with the Charter, which stipulates that:

UNIL aims to produce and transmit knowledge that is validated by collective verification mechanisms involving honesty, independence, interdisciplinarity, debate and transparency. 

For each new class of students, the code of ethics available below and in the "Forms" section is sent to the students for signature.
