The exhibition halls are located in the "Palais de Rumine", in the center of Lausanne.

Opening hours

Following the decisions taken by political and medical authorities in the face of the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, the Musée cantonal de géologie is forced to close its doors with immediate effect and until further notice. The health of our audiences and our teams being the top priority, we thank you for your understanding. We are looking forward to seeing you again once the context allows it.

Guided tours

The museum organises on request guided tours which can be given in English. The price is of 100.- fr. for the first hour and 50.- fr. per extra hour, plus the usual admission fees.

The exhibitions halls are situated on level 3 in the "Palais de Rumine", in the center of Lausanne, on the Riponne place.
